Almas Al Aneed
Psychological and Educational Consultant
(English And Arabic)
Almas Al Aneed has always been a person with many talents and passions. She started her career as a programmer and IT specialist after graduating from Damascus University, the largest and oldest university in Syria. For six years, she worked in the IT department of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, where she gained valuable experience and skills.
However, Almas had another interest that she wanted to pursue: Islamic studies and Quran Tajweed. She enrolled in Zad Academy, an online platform that offers courses on various Islamic topics. She studied diligently and earned a teaching license in Quran and Islamic studies in 2016.
Almas also had a compassionate heart and a strong sense of social responsibility. She co-founded two organizations to help Syrian people who were affected by the war: the Kafalah team in 2011 to support Syrian orphans, and Syrian Hands in 2013 to help Syrian refugees, especially widowed women. She also moved to Japan with her family in 2012, where she faced new challenges and opportunities.
As a mother raising Muslim kids in Japan, Almas became interested in psychology and kids' development. She founded the Arabic Virtual School in Japan in 2014, which aims to teach Arabic to Arab kids living abroad. She also joined IISO as a school counselor and conducted several training courses on positive discipline and emotional skills development for the parents of IISO.
Almas did not stop learning and growing. In 2022, she graduated from the William Glasser Institute in the USA as a certified psychologist, adding to her already impressive array of qualifications.
Almas Al Aneed is an outstanding member of the consultant team at Manarat Al Hayat, which provides counseling services for individuals, families, schools, and organizations.
